I cannot believe that it has taken me so long to finally get round to reading this incredible book. Obviously this book comes with heavy trigger warnings for rape and sexual assault and these should really be taken seriously and into account before reading. ![]() Melinda was raped by an upperclassman, who still attends her school and is still a threat to her. Through an art project she is finally able to face what really happened at that terrible party. As time passes, she becomes increasingly isolated and practically stops talking.
